{"id":1997,"date":"2024-03-16T14:37:39","date_gmt":"2024-03-16T14:37:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zaghawa.org\/english\/?p=1997"},"modified":"2024-03-16T21:29:28","modified_gmt":"2024-03-16T21:29:28","slug":"hundreds-of-people-have-gathered-for-the-funeral-of-three-young-unique-and-special-children-found-dead-in-bristol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zaghawa.org\/english\/2024\/03\/16\/hundreds-of-people-have-gathered-for-the-funeral-of-three-young-unique-and-special-children-found-dead-in-bristol\/","title":{"rendered":"Hundreds of people have gathered for the funeral of three young &#8220;unique and special&#8221; children found dead in Bristol."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/ichef.bbci.co.uk\/news\/976\/cpsprodpb\/1F3E\/production\/_132689970_seamills.jpg\" alt=\"Fares and Joury Bash, two of the children who died in Sea Mills\"\/><figcaption>Image caption,Police said Fares (left), his sister Joury and their nine-month-old brother Mohammed could not be saved<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>By Emma Elgee and Jonathan HolmesBBC News, West of England<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hundreds of people have gathered for the funeral of three young &#8220;unique and special&#8221; children found dead in Bristol.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bodies of nine-month-old Mohammed Bash, three-year-old Joury Bash and seven-year-old Fares Bash&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-england-bristol-68333063\">were discovered in Sea Mills<\/a>&nbsp;on 18 February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A 42-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder has been&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-england-bristol-68449844\">detained under the Mental Health Act.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A funeral prayer was said earlier at the Shah Jalal Mosque in Eastville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The burials then took place at Meadows of Peace in Alveston near Thornbury, where around 400 people gathered to hear tributes paid to the three children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"There-are-no-words-\">&#8216;There are no words&#8217;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sian Randall, headteacher at Sea Mills Primary School, where the two eldest children were pupils, said: &#8220;There are no words that display the depth of sorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Each of them was a unique and special gift, leaving an indelible mark on all of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Fares was a ray of sunshine, with a mischievous smile and ray of spirit that touched everyone he encountered. He was always there to help the staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Joury was a beacon of pure joy, her smile would light up a whole room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Mohammed&#8217;s brother and sister clearly doted on him, Fares would tell warm stories about him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We will miss them dearly, they were integral to us.
